Lake Norman
Christmas Eve Service

The Lake Norman Christmas Eve service at Kenton Place was a huge success! We were invited to participate by Charlotte North Fellowship, who coordinated the event. It was cool to see local churches, local businesses, the Huntersville Herald, and the community come together.
Over 200 people attended, some of which were just walking by and stopped to join us. The choir was made up of singers from three churches, led by our very own Julie Watson on keyboards. Pastor Jeff opened the service and gave a testimony of hope. James and Rhonda Tomasi shared about faith. Other families shared about love, joy. Pastor Will from Charlotte North Fellowship closed out talking about Jesus and His impact on the world. At the end, the candles were lit and it was a beautiful sight to see. We had others from our church that supported the event by attending, and we are always encouraged by that!
There is talk that perhaps there would be a second annual event in 2008. We'll keep you posted.
