just three days left...

Hard to believe there's just 3 days left before I leave for my DTS.  I want to start by thanking my Daddy for this opportunity.  THANK YOU JESUS for opportunities that you put in our lives to learn more about You, to become more like You, to love You, and to serve You.  THANK YOU JESUS for loving us, for stretching us (even though I often don't give You thanks in the middle of the situation--please forgive me Lord for that and help me to give thanks no matter what).  We don't deserve Your love, but You give it to us anyways...wow!  What a God You are to us!!  Give me a passion for You Jesus, that stirs a new hunger and thirst within me, more than I've ever had before...I want/need all of YOU and none of me.  

Now I want to give THANKS to each of you, family/friends who have prayed for/with me throughout my life and this whole journey leading up to this trip.  I definitely need and cherish your prayers!  THANKS also for your financial support...without it, this trip would not be possible! 

I will keep you updated through this web site and my blog site (will include link soon) and also through e-mails.  If you're not sure if I have your e-mail, and you want to receive updates through e-mail, please let me know and I'll be happy to add you on.  Thanks again for everything  :-)

Praise Reports:

1)  I get to see my brother Stephen before I leave (he flies in to Charlotte tomorrow late night; please pray for his safety)

2)  Things are coming together well

3)  Almost all my finances are in for the entire trip

Prayer Requests:

1)  To keep my focus on the Lord and not neglect spending time with Him

2)  To finish all the tasks that need to be done before I leave (to know what to prioritize)

3)  For physical health
