Serve Day 2008 Recap

Ardent Faith would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you for all the help contributed during the Server Day. It was wonderful to have all the churches and other organizations unite and work together serving God, we feel so blessed that we were able to have this opportunity to serve our neighborhood  again. Everybody worked very hard to glorify God and we know that He used each and every one of us to demonstrate His power through our words and deeds that would have spoken into a person's life and shown them that they are loved.

You will be pleased to know that we had 160 workers from 15 churches and other organizations coming together and serving the community. In total we cleaned up 13 tons of trash, residents were blessed by free haircuts and manicures, family portraits, furniture, all sorts of great prizes and bicycle helmets for the kids, and more than 300 meals were served. Residents also took away boxes of groceries and all the clothes they could carry!

We were also extremely grateful for the use of Lake Haven Baptist Church again and thank you to everyone who took care and respected that we were on somebody else's property.

What a beautiful day we had and we even saw two lives committed to Christ, praise the Lord!

Since the Server Day we have been back to the trailer park and have had people ask us to come back this week or sometime in the future! What a great response, we certainly made an impact into this community. Thanks you all very much for contrubuting your time, energy and resources into this annual event.
