Leadership

Jeffrey and Julie Watson, and daughter Michaela, followed God out to Huntersville, North Carolina in January of 2005. They didn't have a church home or jobs, but moved 2,400 miles from Orange County, California believing God had called them to a new place and a new ministry. They were excited to join God in the work He was doing in the Huntersville area, and responded to the call to pioneer a church.  Ardent Faith was birthed out of a home fellowship in October of 2006.  They joined the Christian Growth International (CGI) network of churches in November 2006, and CGI provides guidance, covering and accountibility to Ardent Faith Ministries.

Jeffrey is a graduate of Vanguard University of Southern California (2005) holding degrees in Religion and in Music.  He has hosted worship conferences/workshops in the USA, Europe and Asia.  Jeffrey and Julie have served churches in elder/pastor roles focusing on music, college, and outreach ministries, but they have been known to do 'whatever it takes' to make Jesus famous.  Jeffrey has been ordained by Calvary Chapel, and both Jeffrey and Julie are ordained by CGI as church leaders.  Michaela has been serving with them even smiling in the 'whatever it takes' seasons.  She currently sings on the worship team at AFM.
